I founded E-Speakers.com in August 1998 with the help and encouragement of my long time friend and partner Kimon Bellas of Orca Design & Manufacturing, as a complement to my fascination and passion for recording music and the arsenal of equipment needed to do it well. This passion emerged from a hobby I started when I was about 10 years old - Loudspeakers and Stereo systems. My professional career now spans more than 35 years and, although it took me around the world many times, I have been living in Los Angeles for the past 20 years. While music recording was my core talent, spending the past twenty years in Los Angeles made me discover an equally fascinating and extremely demanding discipline: Film re-recording. To this day, I spend a good part of my life in the studio alongside extremely talented musicians, producers and engineers realizing how wide the gap is between the recording and the reproduction of Sound.   At E-Speakers.com, we recognize that High End Audio has become a megalomaniac industry that is actually spending more money in marketing and fancy industrial design than in R&D. That in itself does not translate into progress and evolution towards higher fidelity. In the 50's and 60's, serious audiophiles had to build their sound systems because the availability of high quality equipment was reserved to audio professionals. These days most high performance equipment is out of reach for most people and we are back to square one with not too many affordable options. We therefore suggest that you look into building your own and put your money where it counts. We have redesigned our website and modified our business model to include designers, collaborators and manufacturers with an open invitation to share knowledge and expertise in an effort to assist you with your projects.    We are exclusive distributors of CLIO measurement systems for all the Americas; world wide distributors of RAVEN products - well known for producing the best true ribbon tweeters and wide bandwidth transducers; Illusion Audio, a new line of high end loudspeakers for cars, home theaters and home audio.
